Before I came across internet network marketing, I sucked at network marketing. I mean, I could not recruit one person in to my business, despite trying so many different methods. It cost so much to print out flyers, it was embarrassing handing them out in town and my friends and family did not want to hear from me yet again about some business opportunity. I really wanted to make an income at home so I could afford to be at home with my daughter, but I felt like I was banging my head of a brick wall.

One day I got a call from one of my upline managers telling me they had just bought a database of people looking for work from a job search site. They were going to call them up and ask them about working for themselves from home. They wanted to know if I would like the numbers too so I could call them. No way!

Here’s what struck me – this successful upline of mine was struggling to find people to talk to, so much that she had to buy these databases of people who were looking for JOBS. Did I really want to continue down this path? I didn’t want people that were just looking for jobs joining my business – I wanted people that were looking for a way OUT of their jobs!

So I thought to myself, how I can I get in front of all the people around the world, just like me, who are ACTIVELY LOOKING for a home based MLM business?

If traditional network marketers were struggling to keep up, I knew I had to find a different way if I was going to build a long lasting business for myself. I couldn’t recruit people if I didn’t know they had the means to recruit a steady stream of people in to their business each month and do it in a way that they enjoyed (there’s no way I wanted to be cold calling people all day 5 years from now just to keep on top of attrition!)

I realised that if I was to build a successful MLM business online, I had to learn the art of internet network marketing. The traditional methods are sinking…and I didn’t want to sink with them!
