I often see people arguing over which method of network marketing is better, internet network marketing or traditional offline marketing. Now, I don’t know about you but I’ve had HUGE success with internet network marketing. In fact, before I learned how to use the internet it took me months just to sponsor one person – and that was my sister!
So for me, I love to do online MLM. This doesn’t mean however, that I think offline marketing is dead, in fact it’s still extremely powerful. there’s nothing like having a face to face conversation with someone to build trust.
But here’s the thing…if you don’t learn how to use the internet to attract new prospects to your business, your competition is going to thrash you, no doubt.
The simple fact is the internet gives you access to THOUSANDS of potential prospects for very little cost. I mean heck, think of how much it can cost to print simple fliers and send to 1000 people. Yet with Facebook, Twitter, Google, Aweber and so on, you can talk to thousands of people at once, for FREE (or very little in the case of aweber).
It certainly makes it easier to recruit online, but you have to be willing to put in the time and effort to get things rolling. In the meantime, offline marketing like talking to people you meet is going to get you results.
For me, I recommend both although I find myself using mostly online techniques because I’m a massive NERD and it’s so damn fun

I think I have an addiction – Internet network marketing _ I love it Rachel and those who say you can’t build a true friendship using social media obviously haven’t tried — I love the people I meet and interact with daily.

Hey Rachael, I don’t know if Internet Network Marketing has necessarily killed offline marketing. I happen to know a lot of people that utilize offline marketing and are very successful. I, myself, however, prefer Online Marketing. As Brenda mentions above, I have met some truly great people that I have connected with and even though we haven’t met in person, Yet, I consider them true friends and am honored to know them!

Indeed you must use both strategy which is online and offline. Offline or what they called traditional network marketing is still the very foundation of the industry, meanwhile internet network marketing amplify who we are, it help us build our own personal brand and get more prospects. in other world internet is a tool to give us more leverage.

I am a true lover of Internet Network Marketing but it will never kill offline MLM. Network Marketing is all about building relationships and as we all know, relationships can be built both offline and online.
