Prospecting & Atrraction Marketing – How To Make The Two Work Together?
I don’t know about you, but when I hear the word “prospecting” it brings up thoughts of chasing prospects, cold calling leads, convincing people to join your business….
It doesn’t really fit in with the whole “attraction marketing” thing does it?
So how do you actively PROSPECT and recruit in to your business, without coming across as needy and desperate especially when you are just starting out?
The answer comes in two parts.
First, there has to be a confidence and certainty in what you are doing. 
Do you have great upline support, not only for you but for your new team? Do you have training that you KNOW will help them make money from home? Do you have faith in the product you are selling? Is it something people really want at the price it’s selling at? Even if you’re not making good money YET, does the compensation plan allow for anyone to make a good amount of income with effort?
Once you’ve got these pieces in place, you’ll find that your confidence and certainty will be stronger and as you create content, network, email your leads etc it will all come off. People are ATTRACTED to confidence. When you have confidence you know that there are always people out there that want to buy, even if someone says no. So you don’t hang all your hopes on them.
Developing your confidence and certainty in what you are doing is REALLY important.
Second part is this – while you are building up the streams of traffic, leads and sign ups, learn how to connect with the few leads you have to make the most of them. I’ve seen people in other teams complain that they’ve put loads of effort in to generating hundreds of leads only to never actually sign up anyone, but when I sit down with them and go through their business there’s one big thing missing – communication. If you don’t communicate with your leads, what good are they?
For me, I use email to make most of my sales and sign up people. But here’s the thing – I still CONNECT with people. Now, because I have thousands of leads I can communicate with lots of people at once and have people come to me all day, every day. But when you are starting out, YOU need to get the ball rolling by reaching out to your leads in other ways.
